The platform is designed to enable an ecosystem of service providers and users offering innovative services to the benefit of the European citizens. CreoDIAS not only provides a cloud-based one-stop shop for all Copernicus satellite data and imagery as well as the Copernicus services information. It also gives access to efficient IT cloud resources, sophisticated processing tools and optional external data.
The CreoDIAS solution is expected to boost user uptake, stimulate innovation and the creation of new business models based on Earth Observation data and information.

In 2017 European Space Agency, acting on behalf of the European Commission, signed a CreoDIAS contract with a consortium led by Creotech Instruments S.A. which includes CloudFerro,, Wroclaw Institute of Spatial Information and Artificial Intelligence (WIZIPISI), Geomatys, Outsourcing Partner and Sinergise.
