White Rabbit allows you to precision time-tag measured data and lets you trigger data taking in large installations while at the same time using the same network to transmit data. White Rabbit works on a distance range over 10km using optic fiber and allows to connect thousands of nodes in the network.

For example MAC-MG is 70:B3:D5:91:<strong>E0:13</strong> so then SFP ports 1 to 18 have addresses from 70:B3:D5:91:<strong>E0:14</strong> to 70:B3:D5:91:<strong>E0:31</strong>.</p>
