Satellite Simulation Engineer

Responsibilities:

• Develop satellite simulator software components based on Creotech’s HyperSat platform;
• Develop simulators of satellite payloads (e.g. imaging payloads);
• Automate testing, validation & build processes using CI/CD;
• Participate in satellite-to-ground-segment integration campaigns;
• Write clean, efficient, well-documented and testable code;
• Employ version control tools (e.g., Git) and containerization technologies (e.g., Docker) to ensure robust and scalable development workflows;
• Manage software engineering fundamentals, including documentation, version control, and team collaboration;
• Identify and resolve bugs and issues;
• Deploy and monitor developed systems.

Qualification:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in application development;
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field or equivalent experience;
• Experience in development in Python (must have);
• Experience with Git;
• Experience CI/CD methodology;
• Familiar with containerization (Docker);
• Comfortable working in a Linux environment;
• Proficiency in English.

Nice to have:

• Familiarity with Embedded development & projects

• Familiarity with C/C++ and Rust development

• Familiarity with aerospace industry and standards (e.g. UAV protocols, CCSDS, ECSS).
