Creotech Instruments S.A., Poland’s largest space mission integrator listed on the Warsaw Stock Exchange, is strengthening its management structure as part of implementing the Company’s Strategy for 2026–2029.
On 18 August 2026, the Supervisory Board appointed Dr Jakub Bochiński as Vice President of the Management Board for Product Strategy and Commercialization. At the same time, the Company established a new Product Strategy and Commercialization Division, bringing together key competencies in product development, technology commercialization, pricing, strategic supplier management and partnership management.
“The appointment of Jakub Bochiński to the Management Board strengthens our capabilities in an area that will be crucial to the Company’s continued growth. We are entering a stage in which translating technological advances into products that address market needs and build sustainable competitive advantage is becoming just as important as developing the technologies themselves. We want to fully leverage the expertise we have accumulated, the experience of our team and the capital raised through the share issue, while consistently increasing the scale of our operations and the value of the solutions we offer. I am convinced that his experience and understanding of both technology and the market will enable us to pursue these objectives even more effectively,” says Dr Grzegorz Brona, President of the Management Board of Creotech Instruments S.A.
The establishment of the Product Strategy and Commercialization Division and the appointment of a new Management Board member responsible for this area are intended to align Creotech Instruments’ management model with the growing scale of its operations and the Company’s next stage of development – the transition from the delivery of individual projects to repeatable production and sales of satellite platforms, complete systems and related services.
The new division will consolidate key competencies in product strategy and roadmaps, product development planning and budgeting, commercialization of R&D activities, management of target costs and margins for platforms, strategic supplier management and partnership development.
Dr Jakub Bochiński has been with Creotech Instruments since 2020. During this time, he has successively held the positions of Space Project Manager, Head of the Space Technology Products Office, Deputy Director for Space Products, Director of the SAT Strategic Procurement Office, and Acting Head of the Space Products and Pricing Department. In these roles, he was responsible, among other things, for developing product strategy for the space segment, defining market and business assumptions for products, satellite mission planning and pricing, supplier selection and partnership development.
Dr Jakub Bochiński has more than 15 years of experience in the space sector, R&D project management and the commercialization of advanced technologies. Before joining Creotech Instruments, he managed R&D teams and projects at Sollers Consulting and the Copernicus Science Centre. He also has experience in conducting technical due diligence on space startups for venture capital funds, as well as advising on the financing and development of technology ventures.
He pursued an academic career at University College London and The Open University in the United Kingdom, specializing in observational research on exoplanets. He is a co-discoverer of more than a dozen exoplanets and a co-author of scientific papers published in journals including Nature and The Astrophysical Journal. He has also served as an expert and adviser to the European Space Agency, the Polish Space Agency and the European Commission. He is an expert at ESA Business Incubation Centre Poland.
His scientific, business and project management experience provides a strong foundation for his responsibilities in product development, commercialization and the continued scaling of the Company’s operations.
The new Product Strategy and Commercialization Division will be built primarily around competencies and responsibilities that already exist within the Company. The organizational change is intended to streamline processes, increase transparency and accountability, and establish a clear mandate for delivering the key objectives set out in Creotech Instruments’ Strategy for 2026–2029.
