Creotech Instruments, a Polish manufacturer of satellites, and satellite systems and components, announced that investors have subscribed in full to the 475,000 Series K ordinary bearer shares offered publicly by the company. The issue price per share was set at PLN 160, resulting in a total gross offering value of PLN 76m. The proceeds from the share issue will partially finance the Mikroglob project, which has a net value of PLN 453m. In the coming years, the company plans to expand its product portfolio, including in quantum communication, and continue projects with the European Space Agency (ESA) and commercial partners. The Series K share issue was supported by CC Group as financial and investor relations advisor, with Trigon Dom Maklerski S.A. acting as the lead manager.
“Our business model, which is anchored in two prospective sectors – space and quantum, allowed us to successfully complete the Series K Share offering and build a fully subscribed order book of 475,000 shares at PLN 160 each. As a result, the company has raised PLN 76m gross, which we will use to fund the development of the Mikroglob project and invest in initiatives that will accelerate our growth. Our objective for the coming years is to establish ourselves as a leading microsatellite technology provider in the European Union for both defense and commercial projects. We also aim to develop the quantum segment significantly, making it an equally important pillar alongside our space business,” said Grzegorz Brona, PhD, President of the Management Board (CEO) of Creotech Instruments S.A.
On 20 December 2024, Creotech Instruments announced the signing of a contract with the State Treasury – Armament Agency for the production and delivery of the Mikroglob Satellite Earth Observation System, covering phases B, C, D, and E1. Valued at PLN 556.7m gross (PLN 453m net), the project is slated for completion by 31 March 2027. A portion of the funds needed for this contract will come from the proceeds of the Series K Share issue, while the balance will be provided through tranches disbursed for each phase of the program.
In addition to the Mikroglob project, Creotech is planning to launch three more HyperSat-based satellites as part of the PIAST program in 2025. The company is also involved in several projects for the European Space Agency (ESA), such as the Plasma Observatory, Space Weather Nanosatellites System Enhancement, the Pan Twardowski mission, Visdoms SBOM, and the development of key components to connect terrestrial private 5G networks (using mmWave technology) with 5G NTN (Non-Terrestrial Networks) satellite communication.
Recently, Creotech Instruments signed three Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs). The first is with Unibap AB, a Swedish producer of onboard computers and cloud solutions for the space sector, to develop a satellite constellation for select US clients. The second is with Odysseus Space SA, a Luxembourg-based company specializing in laser communications between space and Earth, while the third with 4iG Space and Defence Technologies, a Hungarian enterprise in the space and defense sector, aimed at strengthening cooperation and competitiveness across the Central and Eastern European space industry.
Creotech Instruments is also focused on developing products in quantum communication.
In 2026, the company plans to work on ready-to-deploy, proprietary solutions in quantum technologies and ultra-precise time synchronization.
