Creotech Instruments S.A., a DeepTech company listed on the Warsaw Stock Exchange, is launching an innovative DTMTool project to develop a comprehensive solution for drone mission planning and management. The project, valued at over EUR 1.8m, includes nearly EUR 1.5m in funding from the European Space Agency (ESA). ESA’s support will facilitate the implementation of cutting-edge technologies, significantly advancing the unmanned aerial systems sector.

The scope of the project includes the development of an innovative system comprising two key modules:

  • Software providing advanced tools for planning, managing, and monitoring drone missions,
  • Hardware serving as the foundation for the efficient and safe use of various communication systems under operational conditions for drone missions.

Additionally, the project will feature practical demonstrations of the developed solution, showcasing its capabilities under real-world operating conditions.

“We believe that our partnership with ESA and the application of state-of-the-art technologies will enable us to create a tool that significantly facilitates the planning and execution of drone missions. Given the current geopolitical landscape, developing these technologies is increasingly crucial, particularly advanced monitoring solutions that enhance safety and efficiency,” said Jacek Kosiec, Vice-President of the Management Board of Creotech Instruments S.A.

The DTMTool project will pave the way for the development of new commercial products – both hardware and software – within the rapidly growing drone market. As a result, Creotech Instruments plans to offer modern solutions leveraging satellite imagery and next-generation GNSS (HAS) localization systems, providing vital support to drone operators and airspace managers in their day-to-day operations.

Additionally, the project will deliver unique insights and testing opportunities in innovative communication technologies and drone traffic monitoring, as well as  General Aviation, utilizing High Altitude Pseudo Satellites (HAPS) platforms and satellite connectivity, technologies that could transform the future of the drone market.

The project is set to run for 36 months. During this time, the company aims not only to deliver DTMTool but also to expand its capacity to explore new opportunities in unmanned aviation, meeting the market’s growing demands and adapting to its dynamic shifts.
