We confirm the full orbital readiness of the HyperSat platform across all satellites of the PIAST constellation.
We have successfully completed the commissioning phase of the PIAST-S1 and PIAST-S2 satellite platforms, two of the three satellites in the Polish PIAST (Polish ImAging SaTellites) constellation. We have also recently announced the orbital readiness of the PIAST-M platform.
During the commissioning phase, the full functionality of all key systems of the HyperSat platform was confirmed.
This achievement is the result of several weeks of intensive work by the Creotech Instruments operations team, as well as years of commitment from the project teams.
The PIAST project is an example of effective cooperation between Polish industry and academia. It is being carried out by the Wojskowa Akademia Techniczna w Warszawie (project leader) in a consortium with Creotech Instruments, Centrum Badań Kosmicznych Polskiej Akademii Nauk (CBK PAN), Sieć Badawcza Łukasiewicz – Instytut Lotnictwa, Scanway S.A., and PCO S.A.
The program is co-financed by the Narodowe Centrum Badań i Rozwoju under the SZAFIR program initiated by the Ministerstwo Obrony Narodowej.
