General Meeting of Creotech Instruments S.A. appoints new Supervisory Board

Creotech Instruments S.A., a leading Polish manufacturer of satellite systems and components and advanced electronics for quantum computer control systems and other applications, announced the new composition of its Supervisory Board appointed at the General Meeting of Shareholders on 30 June 2021.

The following were appointed as Supervisory Board members:

  • Radosław L. Kwaśnicki, PhD

Legal advisor, holder of a PhD in law. A graduate of the University of Warsaw and the Jagiellonian University, as well as the AMP (IESE Business School) and Value Creation Through Effective Boards (Harvard Business School – Executive Education / IESE Business School) programs. Radosław L. Kwaśnicki specializes in the field of company law, capital market law and court proceedings. He serves as a national and international arbitrator in courts of arbitration of chambers of commerce. Currently, a partner and president of the management board of Kancelaria RKKW – KWAŚNICKI, WRÓBEL & Partnerzy, a law firm.

Radosław L. Kwaśnicki is a member of the Corps of the Polish Institute of Directors entered on the list of candidates for Professional Members of Supervisory Boards of the Polish Institute of Directors. For over a dozen of years, he has been sitting on the supervisory boards of companies, including public companies.

He is an editor, author, and co-author of textbooks, commentaries and publications on the practical aspects of economic law.

Radosłąw L. Kwaśnicki is an independent member of the Supervisory Board.

  • Dariusz Lewandowski

A graduate of the Faculty of Economic Sciences at the University of Warsaw, the London Business School and having completed the Private Equity Masterclass (University of Oxford) and the Chicago Oxford Valuation Program (University of Chicago Booth School of Business Executive Education). Dariusz Lewandowski has managed the Polish arms of Red Bull and TATA. As a consultant for PwC and Deloitte, he advised companies in the field of finance, and provided economic consulting services and assisted companies in going public on the Warsaw Stock Exchange. Founder and CEO of ARIA, a growth fund investing in companies from the new technologies sectors, as well as SYSTEM 3E, a breakthrough technology in the construction industry. Dariusz Lewandowski is a member of the Supervisory Board appointed on behalf of key shareholders.

  • Jan Linke

Legal advisor, graduate of the University of Warsaw, specializing in commercial and corporate law. For many years, Jan Linke was professionally involved with the Aviva Polska group where he was responsible for legal and corporate affairs, and next was appointed as member of the management board of Aviva PTE. He recently founded his own law firm. Jan Linke is a member of the Supervisory Board appointed on behalf of ARP S.A.

  • Paweł Pacek

Holds a degree in law, a graduate of the Faculty of Law and Administration of the Catholic University of Lublin and the SGH Warsaw School of Economics. A graduate of MBA studies at the Institute of Economics of the Polish Academy of Sciences (PAN). He boasts extensive experience in managing European funds dedicated to the development of digitization in administration and internet infrastructure in rural areas.

Currently, he is the Head of the Technology Development Department of Agencja Rozwoju Przemysłu S.A., a state-owned company focused on industry development, where he is responsible for fostering the development of innovative industry segments (e.g. space technologies, robotics and industrial automation). He is a member of the Management Board of the Space Sector Employers’ Union. Paweł Pacek is a member of the Supervisory Board appointed on behalf of ARP S.A.

  • Adam Piotrowski, PhD, Eng

Electronics engineer and scientist, holder of a PhD in technical sciences. A graduate of the Warsaw University of Technology and the Military University of Technology, Adam Piotrowski currently serves as the CEO of VIGO System S.A., a company where he advanced through many ranks. He is the CEO of the Polish Technology Platform for Photonics Employers’ Association supporting dialogue in the field of new technologies between universities, the industry, local governments, the government, the European Commission, Member of the management board of EPIC – EUROPEAN PHOTONICS INDUSTRY CONSORTIUM, a world leading photonic industry association which promotes the sustainable development of organizations working in the field of photonics.

Adam Piotrowski is an independent member of the Supervisory Board with competences in the field of the Company’s operating activities.

Creotech Instruments is Poland’s largest manufacturer and global exporter of space technologies and specialized electronics and instruments, including for quantum computers, quantum cryptography, quantum physics and high energy laboratories. The Company’s products were part of 26 space sector projects, including 10 space missions, 4 of which were carried out for the European Space Agency (ESA). One of Creotech’s most important current projects is the HyperSat satellite platform, which positions the Company among a dozen or so companies in the world capable of offering tailored-made microsatellites and entire microsatellite constellations.

In April, the company successfully completed its IPO, which saw it raise PLN 11,285,000. The funds were used to continue the development of EagleEye, an Earth observation satellite, and bring the HyperSat microsatellite platform up to the state-of-the-art. The Company is planning to develop its own offering of modular satellite platforms, as well as to purchase a third production line for electronics assembly with a view to scale-up its operations.

Creotech Instruments S.A. is planning to debut on the Warsaw Stock Exchange’s NewConnect market in early Q3 2021.
