Business Profile

profile of the company

Creotech Instruments S.A. is Poland's largest satellite manufacturer and space mission integrator, specialising in the design, manufacture and integration of satellite systems, as well as the delivery of complete satellite missions.

The company develops its own technologies and industrial capabilities, enabling it to execute projects across the entire mission lifecycle, from mission concept development, through satellite manufacturing and testing, to launch coordination and in-orbit operations.

At the core of Creotech Instruments' business is the proprietary HyperSat satellite platform family, developed for civil, commercial and defence applications. The company delivers projects for domestic and international customers, including the European Space Agency (ESA), strengthening its position in the European space sector.

Creotech Instruments operates manufacturing facilities in Piaseczno and has offices in Warsaw and Kraków.

Since July 2022, Creotech Instruments has been listed on the Main Market of the Warsaw Stock Exchange (WSE), becoming the first Polish company from the space technology sector to be listed on this market.

Key Capabilities

Creotech Instruments has the expertise and technical capabilities required to deliver complete satellite missions. The company designs and manufactures satellite platforms, integrates advanced subsystems, and performs satellite testing and qualification for space operations.

With its growing manufacturing capabilities, proprietary technologies and experience in managing complex projects, Creotech Instruments is able to act as a prime contractor, taking responsibility for the coordination and delivery of entire satellite missions.

Space Mission Portfolio

Creotech Instruments is involved in national and international space missions covering Earth observation, security and defence, scientific research, and satellite technology development.

The company is one of the European Space Agency's (ESA) largest Polish contractors and an important partner in the European space sector, continuing to strengthen its international presence.

Key projects include:

Mikroglob

A PLN 453 million (net) contract to deliver a comprehensive Satellite Earth Observation System for the Polish Armed Forces, including four microsatellites based on Creotech's proprietary HyperSat platform and a dedicated ground segment.

Camila

A project to develop a Polish constellation of four Earth observation satellites, together with a dedicated ground segment, in cooperation with the European Space Agency (ESA) on behalf of the Polish Ministry of Development and Technology.

SAWA

A satellite mission for the European Space Agency (ESA) focused on monitoring space weather and the effects of solar activity on the near-Earth space environment. Creotech Instruments serves as the prime contractor, responsible for satellite development based on its HyperSat platform, mission integration and in-orbit operations.

PIAST

A Polish constellation of three Earth observation satellites developed using domestic technologies. Creotech Instruments was responsible for manufacturing and delivering the HyperSat satellite platforms, integrating the satellites and coordinating their launch.

The delivery of these projects enables the company to further develop its expertise in satellite manufacturing and mission management, while building the experience needed to secure future contracts.

Business Model

Creotech Instruments' business model is based on contracts for the delivery of satellite platforms, systems and subsystems, as well as complete space missions.

The company is expanding its role as a prime contractor for satellite projects, taking responsibility for their design, manufacturing, integration, testing and overall coordination. A key element of this model is the use of its proprietary modular HyperSat platforms, which can be adapted to meet the requirements of different missions.

Creotech Instruments primarily serves institutional customers, space agencies, and organisations in the security and defence sectors. The continued development of proprietary technologies and the expansion of manufacturing capacity support the company's ability to scale its operations and deliver increasingly complex space projects.
