HyperSat Nano 2.0

Multispectral Medium-resolution (MS MR)

test
HyperSat Nano 2.0 is a satellite based on the HyperSat Nano platform, featuring a non-redundant configuration, designed for missions where constellation size and revisit frequency take priority over maximum spatial resolution. Ideal applications include area monitoring, agriculture, disaster management, and the augmentation of national satellite constellations.
Lower per-satellite costs enable cost-effective constellation scaling, providing resilient, continuous coverage from several satellites rather than reliance on a single spacecraft.Soveregin optical Earth Observation at <5 m GSD in the ¼ plate satellite.Gen 2.0 available now.

Imaging capabilities

Imaging modes

  • Single image (Spotlight)

  • Strip-map

Spectral bands

  • Panchromatic (PAN) and Multispectral (MS): VIS (3 bands) + NIR (1 band)

  • Bands can be tailored within the supported ranges

Performance

Spotlight mode

Assumptions

600 km altitude, SSO, nadir pointing; off-nadir angles up to plus/minus 20 degrees available

  • GSD: ≤ 5 m (PAN)

  • Geolocation accuracy: ≤ 5 m (using Ground Control Points)

  • Communication standards: CCSDS, PUS-C, S-band for TT&C, X-band for data; Encryption: AES-256, SDLS-compliant; Uplink: S-band, 128 kbps; Downlink: S-band up to 1Mbps / X-band up to 500 Mbps

Data volume and latency

  • Daily imaging rate: Daily imaging rate: >100 images captured, stored and downlinked (assuming a 3.5 m ground-station antenna)

  • Data latency: typically ~90 minutes over Europe (depends on ground-station locations)
