Creotech Instruments S.A. is carrying out a project entitled “Specialized HETMAN control and measurement system integrated with a real-time system and supporting subnanosecond time synchronization”. The project is part-financed by the European Regional Development Fund under Measure 1.1 “R&D projects of enterprises”, Sub-measure 1.1.1 “Industrial research and development work implemented by enterprises” under Priority Axis I: “Support R&D activity of enterprises” of the Smart Growth Operational Programme 2014-2020.

The subject of the project is development work for the specialized HETMAN (Open HardwarE real Time Mixed signal measurement And coNtrol system) system integrated with a real-time system and supporting subnanosecond time synchronization.

The solution will be based on the MTCA standard and the White Rabbit time synchronization protocol. Real-time event handling will be managed by a dedicated operating system purchased from an external vendor along with a toolkit for user application development.

The project assumes developing a system framework with a highly flexible and universal architecture and configuration options. This approach facilitates the rapid and easy development of derivative systems tailored to client needs and requirements, offering system support, maintenance and development at the client’s site.

The project was launched on 1 December 2015.

Total project value: PLN 3,954,286.63

Funding amount: PLN 2,372,571.98
