Creotech Instruments is Poland’s leading manufacturer of satellite systems and components, as well as advanced electronics for quantum computer control systems and other applications. The company is also pursuing the development of unmanned aerial systems delivering hardware and software for, among others, drone operations management.

The Company operates its own electronics manufacturing plants and small satellite integration facilities. Creotech Instruments S.A. boasts a portfolio of 30 completed projects for the space sector, including 14 space missions with Creotech-made hardware, four of which were carried out for the European Space Agency.

The Company delivers proprietary solutions to the world’s most distinguished research institutions such as the European Space Agency (ESA), the European Organization for Nuclear Research (CERN) in Geneva, the GSI Centre for Heavy Ion Research and the DESY Research Centre in Germany.

Mission to the Moon

The European Space Agency (ESA) selected the bid of a Polish consortium led by Creotech Instruments to prepare Phase 0/A of Europe’s most significant mission related to lunar mapping. We are tasked with preparing the overall design of the mission and developing a satellite based on our proprietary HyperSat microsatellite platform.

The Twardowski project aims to provide accurate data that will facilitate the exploitation of resources on the Moon’s surface.

Economic Award of the President of the Republic of Poland

Creotech Instruments was the proud recipient of the 21st Economic Award of the President of the Republic of Poland in the SME Leader category.  The nomination came from the Polish Space Agency.

This prestigious annual award recognizes Polish companies that significantly contribute to the national economy and enhance Poland’s international reputation.

Defender Award for the HyperSat Satellite Platform

We are proud to announce that our proprietary HyperSat satellite platform has been honored with the Defender award at the International Defense Industry Fair MSPO 2023 held in Kielce this year. The Defender Award, the highest accolade in the Polish defense industry, is awarded to products that embody exceptional technical and technological originality and innovation, outstanding operational qualities, and strong economic viability.

Our products for the market of unmanned aerial systems achieved market readiness. Expanding our operations in the field of aerial obstacle detection gave us the opportunity to strike a close partnership with the Polish Air Navigation Services Agency (PANSA).

Ventilators during pandemic

During the Covid-19 pandemic, we put professional ventilators into production and secured approval to market them in Poland. We also began manufacturing such products as face shields for healthcare workers and fastenings for single-use masks.

Partnership with MAXAR USA

We teamed up with Maxar to make high-quality Earth-observation imagery available to users from the Polish public sector through the CreoDIAS platform.

Unmanned aerial systems, a new business area

CreoScan, a new brand created by Creotech Instruments, offers a suite of  solutions for  automated drone operation management  in public spaces.

HyperSat, Polish satellite platform

HyperSat is a landmark project in our history. This microsatellite platform was created to cater to the demand for microsatellites of up to 60 kg. HyperSat is a collaborative effort between Polish scientific entities and companies, such as the Centre for Space Research of the Polish Academy of Sciences (PAN), Łukasiewicz Institute of Aviation, and the Air Force Institute of Technology (ITWL), with Creotech as consortium leader.

Satellite data processing,  a new business area  for Creotech Instruments

We were contracted to build cloud infrastructure storage for European satellite data from the Copernicus program. The project has since been expanded and transformed into the CreoDIAS platform.

Measurement and control infrastructure project

We were awarded a contract to build measurement and control infrastructure elements for large-scale scientific experiments, allowing us to work with CERN, DESY, JINR, BNL and other Big Science centers.

Creotech leads Polish consortium

We took the lead in a Polish consortium contracted by the European Space Agency to carry out phases 0 and A for the manufacture of SAT-AIS-PL, a Polish microsatellite.

Construction of in-house production line

Another major milestone in our history involved the construction of an in-house production line and technical facilities, including clean rooms, which are indispensable in the assembly of space-grade electronics.

Industrial Development Agency becomes a strategic investor

We welcomed the Industrial Development Agency (Agencja Rozwoju Przemysłu S.A.), a state-owned agency for the support as our new, strategic investor and managed to secure EU funding, marking a significant milestone in our growth.

First project for ESA

We launched our first project for the European Space Agency (ESA), which delivered electronic components for the ASIM experiment. Designed to monitor the upper layers of the atmosphere, ASIM has been running on the International Space Station since 2018.
